Our Story

ANA Grillhaus continues a long and deeply rooted history. Before we opened our doors, this location was home to Istanbul Restaurant for many years, a beloved meeting place for Turkish cuisine in Charlottenburg.
Its roots go back to the 1960s. Back then, Istanbul Restaurant was located on Knesebeckstraße and quickly made a name for itself: generous portions, honest Turkish home-style cooking, and a family-like atmosphere that accompanied many guests for decades.
